How an Extension Ladder Works
An extension ladder is built from two or more sections that slide against each other, so it can be locked at the exact height a job needs rather than carrying one long, rigid ladder to every site. That adjustability is what makes it useful for building maintenance, cabling work and construction, where the reach required changes from one job to the next.
